Kathryn & James were married on the 7th August 2014 at St Michaels church Bishops Stortford with the reception held afterwards at Parklands in Chelmsford.
In the height of summer it was a lovely hot day to be photographing our lovely couple on their special day. Kathryn and the bridesmaids started the day with bridal preporation at Kathryns parents house in Bishops Stortford and we were able to take many beautiful photographs of Kathryn and the ladies along with Kathryn’s parents out in the pretty back garden.
Kathryns Ivory dress with rose detail to the side looked beautiful and the flowing summery bouquet full of Roses and Lillies in different shades of Pinks and Purples looked stunning.
The colour theme of the day was Cerise Pink lovely and Bright perfect for a hot summers day.
The bridesmaids wore Cerise Pink knee length dresses holding pretty posies of Cream and Pink Roses which complimented each other so well and of course fitted in so nicely with Kathryns bouquet too, the Groom and Groomsmen wore light Grey suits with Cerise cravats and Pocket hankies to follow through the colour theme.
One the day Kathryn and James were accompanied by many of their friends and family members, Kathryn had 3 Bridesmaids, friends Ellie and Rachel and James’s sister Georgie, along with Niece Ruby as Flower Girl. James had two friends as Best Men both Chris and Jake, Ushers Chris and Kathryns brothers Richard and Tom and not forgetting Page Boy Sam (James’s brother)
After the church ceremony our couple travelled to Parklands in a vintage Cream Rolls Royce, which we we sure to capture some images of along side the Bride and Groom outside the manor house at Parklands.
Parklands has many beautiful spots for us to take advantage of around the grounds, on this day we took photographs of our couple sitting on the side wall of the beautiful fountain, on the grassland in front of the manor house which looks amazing sitting in the background, under the beautiful Cream pergola, walking along the wooded walkways, sitting on the lovers bench, standing by the stunning lake and the group family and friend shots on the huge grass land around the building, spoilt for choice!
Back at the wedding reception room we captured all those tiny table details and lovely finishing touches that you may not remember after the occasion these make for some lovely photographs for background pages in your finished album too!
