Caroline and William’s wedding at St Mary’s Church, North Mymms & Brocket Hall, Herts

Caroline and William were married at St Mary’s Church in North Mymms on the 24th July 2014 followed by the wedding reception at Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire.

Broket Hall is a magnificent wedding venue set in 543 acres of stunning parkland, it was also home to two prime ministers and has played host to many royal members! Just a few of the gorgeous points of interest here are the gorgeous ballroom, championship golf course, waterside restaurant, glamorous dining halls and fabulous lake with a stunning bridge that makes a real impact in the photographs.  Have a look at the venues website www.brocket-hall.co.uk

On the day Caroline had 2 bridesmaids her own sister Jenny and Williams sister Liz, the ladies wore Teal (the colour theme of the day) knee length dresses teamed with an ivory ash belt and shoes, carrying pretty posies of cream flowers to match Caroline’s.

William was accompanied by Best Man Gavin and two Usher Errin and Matthew, the men looked very smart in their 3 piece dark grey morning suits teamed with Ivory waistcoats and Teal cravats to following through with the colour theme.

After the marriage ceremony at St Mary’s church in North Mymms we headed off to meet our couple back at Brocket Hall to capture the traditional couple shots, we were spoiled for choice for areas around the grounds to use! but we couldn’t resist capturing our couple sitting on the grassland next to the beautiful lake and amazing bridge offset behind.. just beautiful.

We also walked our bride and groom around the lake and captured the magnificent building in the background, this also worked well with our couple on the bridge and the mansion in the background, real eye catching scenery to create some amazing photographs on their special day.  The golf course ground, beautiful corn field, woodland areas and sweeping drives also made our day and also made for some amazing photographs!

Back inside the sprawling mansion we again found so many opportunities for fantastic photography, including the sweeping staircases, balconies, ballrooms, dining halls and so much more we were in our element!

Back at the reception area we captured some lovely reportage photography of the guests laughing and joking and chatting to the newly weds and not forgetting the piano player which played during wedding breakfast.

We stayed to cover the evening with Caroline and William which was great, as it was a lovely summers evening we captured the guests outside playing croquet and enjoying each others company, later we caught sundown with Caroline and William by the lake which looked so romantic!

Before our day ended we took captured some lovely memories of the newly weds having their first dance and of the other guests dancing with their partners and each other great memories to look back on!

Here are some images from the day..
