Holly & Harry’s mum found me at a wedding open day at Play Golf where she worked took a brouchure and sure enough Holly & Harry came and met me in my studio and booked.
They are such a lovely couple and im happy to have seen them several times since for portraits!
Their wedding is one i loved and was so sweet! So Holly’s grandad has a stunning old house in Stoke By Nayland which was full of charm and character and Holly’s grandad was such a lovely welcoming man. Holly would spent many summers there running around in his large garden. So when it came to getting married she knew where she had to tie the knot!
Grandad was literally next to a church in fact the church doorway was at the top of his garden and you could see the church from the garden very clear.
So that was the church and guests simply walked down a path and straight into grandads garden!
Grandad was kind enough the flattern his vegatable patch for the marquee to go up for the wedding reception and party!
Holly & Harry had a surprise guest of their baby daughter just weeks before their wedding, but they had a very didicated auntie who cared for baby all day long and never minded.
Holly & Harry has light up letters in the garden which are normally inside but looked stunning and helped lite the garden in the evening. Holly added bunting all around the garden to give that garden party look. Grandad even lite a wood fire pit with logs for guests to sit around when they got cold! Grandad also built new steps with tulips for group shots so the church was behind the steps, so thoughtful.
