Emma and Steve were married on the 5th July 2014 holding their wedding ceremony at St Lukes Church in Tiptree followed by reception at Crabbs Barn in Kelvedon.
Crabbs Barn is a 15th century refurbished barn wedding venue set in the pretty countryside of Kelvedon, it has some lovely greenery areas surrounding the barn and outbuildings which we love to make use of the for photographs.
Emma had 3 bridesmaids and 1 flowergirl on the big day, bridesmaids (cousins) Georgia and Ellie and Chief Bridesmaid sister Samantha along with flowers girl Katie Steve’s Cousin. The older bridesmaids wore pretty Lilac coloured floor length dresses which followed the colour theme of the day teamed with very summery posies in Lilac and Cream complimenting Emma’s wedding bouquet. The flower girl wore a pretty Ivory dress to compliment Emmas lovely wedding dress.
Steve was accompanied by Best Man and Brother Lee, 4 Ushers Friends Scott, James and Billy with Cousin Daniel. The men all wore matching Grey morning suits which looked lovely teamed with their Ivory waistcoats and Lilac Cravats.
After the ceremony in our couples local Church (St Lukes in Tiptree) Emma and Steve travelled in style in a Cream vintage car we took some lovely photographs of the couple next to the car toasting their glasses, one thing we will be sure to capture if you do hire special transport on the day as Emma and Steve did.
Once we arrived at Crabbs Barn from the church we took our couple off for some couple shots around the grounds, Crabbs Barn have some lovely wooded areas, very old outbuildings, brick walls and vintage field gates that we just love to incorporate into our photographs all of these points of interest make for some wonderful photographs. As Crabbs Barn is set in the countryside we were lucky enough to make use of the adjoining corn fields and took Emma and Steve for a romantic stroll with our props and parasol, the photographs look stunning, corn fields are really effective on warm sunny days.
We also took many reportage, candid shots on the day of guests enjoying themselves, chatting, talking laughing even crying with laughter during the speeches, priceless photography that will be sure to raise a smile looking through your images after the day!
