Dionne and Simon chose the sister venue of Channels called Little Channels, its an ideal venue for the smaller number of guests and is a quirky little barn with exposed brick inside. It has a courtyard for guests drinks receptions and a grass area out the front for group shots. To the side of the barn there is a landscaped area for photos for the couple with rose bushes. Little Channels you have to know the good places for photographs but there is secret places we have found.
Dionne & Simon opted to travel to Big Channels for photographs as they hired a vintage car and wanted a drive in it, Channels pre agreed this so we poped up the road for photographs.
They had a wet wedding and Dionne wasnt one with the rain, we managed to get all photographs outside and we always keep the dress up from getting wet or marked, it maybe by the groom holding it up behind. We did manage to finally convince Dionne to place it down for a shot to show of the train of the dress. By the evening Dionne didnt hook the dress up and was casually swaying her dress and spinning.
Dionne had lots of idea for her photographs she wanted them a little different and showed some images from pinterest she loved.
They had a slight putple hint in the vintage style, there was a lot of attention to detail with the use of wood.
They had a saxphone playing during reception drinks which made for a great atmosphere for the guests.
Rainy days you can not avoid and they can make some great shots with the reflections in the water on the ground, dresses up in the air and umbrellas! Yes you may get wet feet but as long as your hair and makeup are in place keep smiling and it makes great images.
