Abigail and Robert were married on the 24th August 2014 at Newland Hall, Chelmsford.
It was a lovely August day and we started off at Abigail s Nan’s house for Bridal preparation with her 2 bridesmaids Chloe and Catherine, as the weather was so lovely we took to the garden for ome lovely shots with bride and bridesmaids and parents too.
The theme of the day was Purple, the Bridesmaids wore Purple knee length dress and the flowers that both bride and bridesmaids held were a beautiful array of Purple, Lilac and Cream flowers, such a summery colour perfect for this time of the year!
Abigail and Robert took advantage of the lovely time of the year and held the ceremony outdoors with guests seat lined either side of a Red carpet leading to the pretty pagoda where Robert was waiting, it looked just stunning, and the gentle music played by a guitar player inside the pagoda added that extra bit of magic.
After the ceremony our newly weds were happy for us to take them around the grounds for the traditional photographs, of course Newlands Hall is such a pretty building we had to capture our couple together with it nestled in the background, we also made use of the old brick barn walls, the beautiful lake, the lovely greenery areas and our favourite, the vintage field gate that we had our lovely couple placed on top of for some really stunning shots. We also used our wedding props here and the bride and groom even incorporated their day jobs into the props by bringing along ballet shoes and spanners which looked great when held out by the couple towards the camera, it also just added that extra personal touch too which is lovely.
As we were covering the evening for Abigail and Robert we were lucky enough to capture some amazing silhouettes of the newly weds under the sun set, just beautiful! Back indoors we captured the all important first dance and the fun and laughter of friends and family, great to look back on with a smile.
