Lizzy & Joe wedding

IMG_4065IMG_4230 copyIMG_3879 copyLizzy & Joe were married on 25th July 2015 at Channels Golf Club in a lovely outdoor ceremony, followed by a reception.  They had a vintage themed day, with simple flower arrangements in a pale pink and cream colour scheme. The cake, made up of lots of cupcakes was particularly pretty.

The bride, who was given away by her mother on the day, looked beautiful in a strapless gown with a full ruffled skirt, which was perfectly matched by her five bridesmaids who wore delicate individual styled dresses in either cream or pale pink.  Lizzy had her hair up in a gorgeous 60’s style beehive.    The groom, best man and ushers all wore blue suits with brown brogues which complimented the girls perfectly.

The couple thanked their lucky stars for a beautifully sunny day, which was preceded by the wettest day of the year,  enabling us to get some great photos of them and their guests in and around this lovely venue and grounds.

Chloe & Brett’s wedding

IMG_3166 copyIMG_3237 copyIMG_3099 copyChloe & Brett were married on 24th July 2015 at St Michael’s Church in Galleywood, followed by a reception at the beautiful Boreham House.

It was lovely for us to work at this local church, where the company owner Stacey actually got married. It has to be said that the couple’s day was unfortunately so unlucky to be on the wettest day of the year.  However, the young couple were determined not to let it dampen their spirits and one of Chloe’s favourite shots was taken in the woods beside the church with an umbrella and chloe wearing a pair of purple wellies.

Chloe looked stunning in an elegant white strapless dress and had a simple but classic cream rose bouquet. Her bridesmaid were in purple with co-ordinating cream and lilac posies.

In keeping with family tradition Chloe was driven to the church by her grandfather in his beautiful silver classic Rolls Royce, with the couple then travelling in the together to the reception venue, where we made sure we captured the shot of the couple standing up in the car, another of their family traditions.

With the weather being so bad we didn’t get to make full use of the beautiful grounds at Boreham House but managed to get some great shots both inside and under cover on the front steps of the house.

Sophie & Adam’s wedding Channels Golf club

Sophie and Adam were married on 17th July 2015 at channels Golf Club.

They had a lovely outdoor service at channel’s in their  new outdoor area followed by a reception also held at channels.

There was a very soft and elegant vintage theme to this wedding, the bridesmaid wore a lovely dusky pink dress and the bride was in a beautiful high neck wedding gown.  Sophie and Adam had 3 gorgeous flower girls who all looked beautiful in their dresses.

After the ceremony we managed to find some new areas for photos such as a road we had never used before, which had a lovely perspective for walking shots. And to the side of the road had long grass which we decided to spontaneously use as we felt this went with the vintage theme. The couple requested some photos of them on space hoppers which look great and were fun to do. The bride and groom also requested certain photos of the day, such as Adam making a heart shape on the back of Sophie’s dress with his hands, also the use of the vintage props we have such as the frame and the bunting.

Overall is was a fantastic wedding and a great time had by all.

Please see some pictures from the day…

Sabrina and Jonathan 23rd July Haileybury College Church and Gaynes Park

Sabrina and Jonathan were married on 23rd July at the beautiful Haileybury college church and went on to have their reception at Gaynes Park.

The groom and his brothers attended Haileybury college so it was important to Jonathan to get married at this particular church.

Sabrina had brilliant purple flowers in her bouquet and her two bridesmaids in lovely purple dresses. The best man of the groom was his twin brother Gareth and he also had 2 ushers.

The couple had a singer whilst they were signing the register at the church, then back at the reception of Gaynes park the couple had a string quartet playing who sounded fantastic and the guests seemed to enjoy the music.

Sabrina used our lace fan for some photos which looked great and they also used a purple parasol that went fantastic with the theme.

Brenna & Richard’s wedding Channels Golf Club

Brenna and Richard were married on 16th July 2015 at Channels, having a lovely outdoor service, which was attended by their beloved dog, Indy,  followed by a reception.

There was a fun festival like theme to this wedding, with a rainbow colour scheme throughout their day, from the flowers to the outfits and indoor decoration.

The bride wore a beautiful traditional dress and veil, with a pair of sparkly Dorothy ruby red shoes. Her bouquet was made up of sunflowers with co-ordinating red, orange and purple flowers of which her bridesmaids had individual bouquets with co-ordinating coloured shoes, which really stood out against their black dresses.  The groom, best man and ushers also wore individual colours matching their shoes, socks, ties and braces.

Inside the venue the colourful theme continued with tables being named after different festivals and the table flower arrangements set in different coloured wellingtons.  Suspended from the beams above were around 40 large coloured paper lanters which as you can see from the photos looked amazing.
