Lisa and James were married on the 6th September 2014 at Our Lady Immaculate church in Chelmsford followed by their wedding reception at Pontlands Park.
The bridal preparation began at Pontlands Park with Lisa and her 6 bridesmaids, Lisa looked a picture in her full bridal gown with amazing train, and the girls looked very pretty in their Pale Pink floor length dresses which followed the Pale Pink colour theme of the day.
Before we set off to church we were sure to capture Lisa in the grounds of Pontlands with her parents and bridesmaids. It was a lovely day and Pontlands have some great grassland areas that we could use, and we just had to capture some of Lisa on her own on these grassed areas to show off that dress and huge train, gorgeous!
Once we arrived at the church we caught up with James and his 6 ushers for some group photographs and individual shot of James around the church grounds, the men looked very dapper in their Navy suits.
Back at Pontlands we took our newly weds off for their traditional wedding shots around the grounds, there are some lovely areas here and we used the old wooden bridge over the pond full of lilypads this looked amazing, the grassland walkways and the decked area beside the pond made an amazing spot for us to capture the couple hand in hand with Lisa’s veil floating in the breeze just stunning! The hotel itself was a great place to capture some shots of Lisa and James, especially the winding staircase and the Black and White checkered hallway which really make a statement in the photographs.
Back at the reception room we caught all those tiny details that could be forgotten in years to come, like the stationary, cake details and flowers, these photographs also make great background images in our graphi wedding albums if you choose to have one.
Here are some images from the day…
