Lauren and Robert were married at Stockbrook Manor on the 20th September 2014.
Laurens bridal preparation took place at Stockbrook itself along with her 5 bridesmaids and daughter Bella who had the important job of flower girl.
Our bride wore a beautifully elegant Ivory wedding gown with lots of lace detail and a beautiful train, and she held a pretty posy of English garden flowers in very pale pinks and creams, she looked beautiful, the bridesmaids complimented so well in their elegant pale Grey dresses and Bella in her pretty pale Pink dress they all had matching posies to match Lauren’s.
After capturing some lovely shots of the bride, bridesmaid and flower girl outside the grounds we met with Robert, Best man Dan and 4 Ushers, they looked very much the part in their Blue suits, we took some great fun shots with the guys outside the building, i think 9yr old Usher Teddy was enjoying every moment!
A little bit a fun was added to the day with the hire of 2 cream London taxi cabs as the mode of transport, we were sure to take some lovely photographs outside the main building both with Lauren, her father and bridesmaids and again after the ceremony with Lauren and Robert.
We took our newly weds off for their traditional photographs around the grounds, we know Stockbrook very well as this is one of our popular wedding venues in the area, we made use of the tree lined driveway, which makes for some lovely photographs, Lauren had a great long length veil and we caught some lovely images of Lauren facing Robert from the side view with the veil blowing in the air it looks amazing in photographs makes a great effect!
There is also a lovely walkway alongside an ajoining field that we captured our couple walking along hand in hand, this made for some lovely romantic shots , this was also a great place for us to take some photographs of Lauren giving us a lovely twirl in that gorgeous dress with our prop parasol in hand. We also used our other props on the day including our Mr and Mrs chalkboards, and vintage hessian bunting wrapped around the couple whilst having a little kiss.. lovely!
Back inside at the reception we captured some great candid shots of the guests, smiling, laughing, talking these are really lovely natural shots to look back on and alot of couple also like these types of photographs included in their albums, they particularly look lovely in Black and White too.
We were staying to cover the evening for Lauren and Robert this day, and everyone had a great surprise at the the male singers that made an appearance dressed as waiters whilst everyone was seated, they made for some great photographs, and the guests faces really made some great shots!
As well as capturing the first dance, we also took our bride and groom out to the front of the lit building for some shots in the dark, and also back inside to capture some of those dad dance moves from the guests!
Here are some images from the day…
