Jo & Ben Chose The Reid Rooms in Margaret Roding for their big day. The Reid Rooms is one of our favorite venues to work at as it has so much character and many places for photos.
They were so lucky with the weather and the sun shone all day long for them. Jo dressed at her parents house then arrived to The Reid Rooms in a vintage car.
We took them after the wedding in the car to the nearby fields for some unusual shots where were tried some lifting shots, that we had tried in the engagement shoot as we had found out these were their strengths.
Jo was recommended to us by her sister Nichola who we later photographed the wedding for at Channels in September.
It once again was lovely to work with the same family twice. Jo & Ben were a model couple literally! They photographed so well and they had a great look for the camera. Lots of people when they see their photos compliment Jo’s dress.
Jo & Ben had been living abroad so mentioned at the final meeting they liked the beach feel so we suggested bringing along blow up beach balls which we threw out during the large group shoot of all the guests and they all hit the balls up into the air making a great shot.
We also took them into the farm itself and found some lovely round hay bails which made a perfect backdrop for photos.
