Claire and Scott were married on the 1st October 2014 at The Reid Rooms in Margaret Roding.
We begun our day at The Reid Rooms for bridal preparation with Claire, Maid of Honor Jess, 2 bridesmaids (Claires sisters) Danielle and Andrea and Claires mother. We took some lovely natural photographs of all the ladies getting ready and of course all of Claire’s important items, we just had to capture those Irregular Choice shoes which were Navy Blue and full of multi coloured Cherries and White polka dots next to the Deep Autumn Red coloured bouquet.
After the prep we made our way outside to capture some lovely shots of Claire by the lake in the Autumn sunshine with her bridesmaids and family, Claire was even happy to take a stroll through the adjoining field holding the bottom of her dress looking out to the distance. These shots look amazing and can really pay off if you have this type of setting and are willing to give it ago on your big day!
Further along at the venue we caught up with Scott, Usher Ollie and Best Man Ryan, we had great fun with the guys and their blow up guitars given us a real good rock for the camera before the ceremony, they even popped their shades on for some great “Blues Brothers” type photographs the photographs look great and you can really see they were having a great time.
After the ceremony we took Claire and Scott for their traditional photographs, on the way we just had to capture Claire and Scott with their Spaniel who came along to see them at the reception drinks! Our newly weds were happy to walk around the grounds to have some photographs captured behind the lake in front of the manor house whist we shot from the other side.. so pretty. We also used our wedding props here, on this occasion we used our hessian Mr & Mrs bunting, Just Married chalkboards and Love letters.
Before returning to the guests we took Claire and Scott over to the hay barn and captured some stunning shots of our couple sitting on the bales having a romantic kiss and chat to each other, the photographs were so effective and really brought that country feel into the images which is just the type of venue The Reid Rooms is. We must not
forget we also captured Claire and Scott driving up the sweeping drive in a vintage topless car!
Just before the wedding breakfast we also captured some real fun photographs with all the male attendants alongside Scott. The guys all had different superhero tshirts on underneath their formal shirts which they unbuttoned and burst them open looking up into the sky, the family dog even wore a handmade jet pack on his back.. what great fun!
