20th February 2013 we Photographed the wedding of Emily & Jonathan at All Saints Church Springfield Green Chelmsford, followed by a reception at the beautiful & grand Boreham House.
This was indeed the coldest wedding we have had this year and bless Emily she survived the freezing cold, probably helped by her very cleverly chosen fur coat.
We knew this wedding was going to be different as during the engagement shoot we noticed that Jonathan was certainly a character & a very bubbly person, he whispered to us also about the idea that he was planning the transport and that he was going to hire a fire engine as Emily’s dad was a fireman. They hired the engine from a local company called Hot Hire.
Emily had chosen a very sensible hair style for a winter wedding of a clean half tied back style so no wind was going to mess her hair up for the photos.
We took some great shoots both at the brides house & at Boreham house with the fire engine. The bride arrived to the church with the sirens going on the engine to make her entrance & made the locals heads turn.
At Boreham House Jonathan could not resist putting on a fireman’s hat to take some photos with Emily.
The day ran smoothly & the end result was a mixture of both their personalties of fun & romantic.
