Lucy & Jonathon’s wedding was held at Mulberry House on 19th march.
It was a cool winters day and Lucy opted for a cream wrap to keep her arms warm, which is a great tip if you are getting married winter/spring or autumn.
They chose a civil ceremony in the Mulberry Suite then photographs took place in the beautiful grounds of Mulberry House.
(Mulberry House in is Ongar on the A414 and boasts a beautiful lake with black swans ducks and other wildlife, along with a lovely bridge over the lake which is ideal for photographs. )
Their Wedding Photographs took place around the lake, walkways and even around the wishing well.
Lucy & Jonathons wedding was nice and relaxed day and we even managed to create a large heart group shot, as we had the advantage of looking out of the bridal suite onto a lovely large grass area. Their colour scheme was lilac and there was a vintage feel about their photographs.
Mulberry House is lite at night and we managed to take some photographs at the front of the house using out spot light.
Gemma & Oliver were married on 4th December 2016 at Channels Golf Club in Chelmsford.
I was very much looking forward to their wedding after getting to know them well. Before the wedding we always offer our clients engagement shoots to get to know them better and as with Gemma & Oliver we welcomed along their daughter Evie on the day. Evie was an angel on the engagement shoot and was just a little poser.
Which she continued to be on the wedding day too.
Gemma & Olly were really lovely couple to work with and came to us as a recommendation from Denise & Adam a wedding we shot at Stock Brook Manor previously.
I found this wedding really light hearted and easy to work on and Gemma & Olly were such great fun, and Gemma absolutely loves Christmas so wanted a christmas theme being in december and wanted to incorporate Christmas items in some of her photos as you can see below. We used Christmas items we had in the studio and Gemma & Olly brought along a personalized bauble for photos and candy canes, we also discussed used baubles for reflections.
Gemma had 3 bridesmaids friends Chloe & Vicky and her cousin Katie not forgetting her gorgeous daughter Evie as flowergirl.
Gemmas Brother Adam was Usher on the day, and Olly’s 2 friends Martyn & Steven were joint best men. The ceremony with 80 guests took place inside the Essex Barn at Channels, followed by photos with guests in the patio of the clubhouse and we took the couple off for a walk over to the lodge for photos by the barns and lake.
The day was brisk and cool so Gemma brought along a wrap to keep her arms warm, and we also kept moving to keep the couple warmer. The weather just held off and we managed to get some lovely shots especially with the wooden sleigh and reindeer’s that channels had made for decorations around the venue, as you can see below.
All in all a great wedding to end the year on. We produced their photos and album in super quick time so they had their images by christmas to show friends and family, we kindly received a lovely text recently saying how impressed friends and family were with the album and how happy they were with our professional service. Which was a lovely surprise to receive makes me smile xx
Marie and Andy were married at the lovely venue of Channels Golf club on 29th November this year. Marie looked stunning in her beautiful lace wedding dress and she had a flower girl who looked very sweet.
Marie had her mum give her away down the aisle which was lovely and the ceremony was perfect. We took the couple off for their photos, and Channels had made their grounds very festive which looked great. We got a shot of the couple holding festive decorations and sitting in Santa’s sleigh, as well as using some of their own props they had brought along.
The venue inside was made up with the ‘green tea theme’ Marie and Andy had wanted and it looked fantastic.
Laura and Richard were married at Channels Golf Club on 22nd October.
Laura and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day at Laura’s house. Laura wore a beautiful dress with a lovely long veil. There were 4 bridesmaids with he sister Emma as her maid of honor. They also had their niece Holly as a flower girl who looked very sweet in her outfit.
Meeting the Groom Richard, the bestman and ushers at the venue, we got some great shots of them all, espeically one of them all wearing the same spotty socks.
Laura and Richard were married outside on their day and after the ceremony we were able to get some lovely photos around the grounds of Channels. Due to the time of year we got some beautiful autumnal shots with all the trees, which looked stunning.
The couple requested for the heart group shot which we were able to do for them. They also wanted a photo of their flower girl and page boys covering their eyes whilst the couple kissed. We haven’t had this request before so it was a challenge but was fun to capture.
We took Laura and Richard back outside for some great evening shots with sparklers, and got a fantastic photo of the couple standing having a kiss and the word LOVE written across them in sparklers.
Please see some photos from the day…
