Emma & Adam’s Wedding at Channels Estate

Emma & Adam were married on 3rd July at Channels Estate.

Adam is the step son of Mitch Fisk who is the DJ channels recommends called Dream Machine.  After working together for many years Mitch had Adam contact me for a meeting.

Emma & Adam were a couple that were very easy to work with and were very laid back and trusted in our work and experience.

They were lucky with the weather and managed to have an outdoor ceremony then we walked around the estate and found some lovely places for photographs as shown below.

The love between these two certainly showed and had some lovely relaxed images that were also romantic.

We managed a walk down to the large lake on the course and were lucky for a early sunset with dramatic skies.  This was the first time we shot groups in the lovely wedding garden and we used a ladder to get higher large group shots.

It was nice to have a different place to do groups and allows a more green backdrop for the photographs.

Step Father Mitch did the Dj himself and supplied a confetti canon for the first dance which adds to the photographs.

The wedding was a natural vintage theme with jam jars along the table and hessian detail, including lovely hessian pouches for the cutlery.

I am now looking forward to Mitch’s sons wedding this year.

Gemma & Clayton’s Wedding at Southend Pier

Gemma & Clayton is a wedding i will never forget when i met them at the Heart Essex Wedding Show the year before Claytons mum had brought them to me. She was the organizer of the show and i had photographed her wedding years before.

We straight away got along which is very important when you chose a wedding photographer.

When it came to the final meeting we spent hours planning for the day and Gemma and myself exchanged many messages before the meeting with ideas.

Being that the wedding was on the pier, the reception on the beach at Sands, and that the couple were locals of southend with young children and young themselves, it was very clear that this had to come across in the photos.  So british summer time it was with lots of colour and fun young photos.

We really had fun on this wedding with Chantelle assisting to catch the groom before the wedding.

The couple didnt have a smooth run up to the wedding as they found out the train on the pier was not able to run due to structure on the pier so the couple had visions on their family walking the pier…So the pier hired in big golf buggies to transport the guests up and down the pier, which had to be done in military precision arranging for guests to arrive at different times to all make it to the end of the pier.  Then they found out that there was diggers fencing outside the venue as the three shells were having a rock pool put in.

But despite all the set backs of plans we got loads of photographs and the couple were very patient to walk to the other side of adventure island to find a beach for photographs.

The Reception at Sands was far better than we had visions of it was very pretty and shabby chic and light and bright with lovely chairs decoration and a decking area looking out to sea.

We even paid a visit into Adventure island before closing for some bright fun photos even on the carousel!

We used deck chairs, ice creams, candy flosses, pin wheels, balloons etc for photos.

Stacey & Chris’s Wedding at Channels Estate

Stacey & Chris were married on 4th June at Channels Estate Chelmsford.

Stacey chose to have her bridal preparations at channels in the cottage followed by an outdoor ceremony under their thatched gazebo and guests are seated on church pew’s.

Stacey & Chris had 104 guest for the whole day so it was a lovely large wedding.

It was our past wedding at Channels where we did the photographs on the patio outside the club house before the wedding garden was ready for photographs and drinks.

We decided to find new areas for their photographs using a cottage for backdrops, a small tree we found for shade and blossom on the floor then a small brick bride for photographs.  We even used the convex mirror for reflection photographs while the couple was walking past.

We managed to walk the couple down to a large lake for sunset photos which were stunning.  The couple had several requests for example a photo of them and their parents hold theit photos wedding photographs, showing just how close and strong and family orientated this family is.

The couple is a very fun couple and it was an absolute please to work with this couple.

Emma & Luke’s Wedding Creeksea Place

Emma & Luke were married on 3rd June at English Martyrs Church in Danbury followed by a horse drawn carriage to their reception to the beautiful Creeksea Place in Burnham.

Emma being a horse owner had to have a horse & carriage what else to bring that love of horses into their wedding.

Emma wore a stunning white full gown, the wedding was traditional English theme.  We created some artist grand photos to compliment the venue.

The venue has a lake, bridge,  stunning brick built mansion with a marquee on the garden.

Photo opportunities at the venue is endless, it now has a white gazebo outside the walled garden for outdoor ceremonies but also makes for stunning photographs.

Stacey & Chantelle were the photographers on this wedding.  Bridal flowers unfortunately didn’t make the house and were late and it started to rain so we used a white wedding walker brolly for the bride to use instead instead of flowers.
