Shelley and Matts wedding at Blackmoore Church, Blackmoore & Longmead House, Writtle

Shelley and Matt were married on the 7th February 2015 at Blackmoore Church followed by reception at Longmead House Writtle.

We began our day at Shelleys parents house with Shelley, her 2 sisters Jenny and Rachel who were also Bridesmaids for the day and two flower girls Jessica and Emily.  Even though it was February the weather was holding up for us and we managed to take some lovely photographs of the ladies in the back garden before heading off to church.

Shelley’s mother organised the wedding for Shelley and Matt and most of the details where a complete surprise to our couple! she made a really lovely effort and even hired a snow machine for the reception!

Shelley and Matts Daughter was a flowergirl and their 8 yr old son Bobby was 1 of the two best men, they done a fabulous job!

We met Matt and his 2 Ushers and 2 Best Men at Blackmoore Church where we captured some great photographs and those of Matt and his son Bobby will definitely be some to treasure!

After the ceremony we headed off to Longmead House in Writtle for the reception, there was a pretty lake nearby with a lovely wooded area that we made use of for out traditional bride and groom shots, it was lovely to involve their two children (also flower girl and Best Man) into these shots as well, they all had great fun and it really shows in the photographs.

Carmel & James’s wedding at St Mary’s Church, Hornchurch & Mulberry House, Ongar

Carmel & James were married at St Mary’s Church, Hornchurch followed by the reception held at Mulberry House in Ongar.

We were back at Mulberry House this day to capture some special moments for Carmel and James.  We started our day photographing Carmels wedding preparations with the 2 Older Bridesmaids, Mother and Father of the Bride.  We captured some beautiful shots of Carmel in her stunning classic Lace wedding gown, complimented with beautiful county garden style bouquet which matched the Bridesmaids and also looked so lovely against the Bridesmaids lovely Blue dresses.

After preparation we travelled to Hornchurch for the Ceremony at St Mary’s Church, James, his Best Man and 4 Ushers were there ready and waiting, during this time we captured some classic shots of James and his Groomsmen outside the Church doors, James parents and 3 flower girls shortly followed so we had a chance to include them all in the shots, the church made a lovely back drop.

After the beautiful ceremony we headed back to Mulberry house to capture the traditional couple shots of our newly weds, we know Mulberry House extremely well and took Carmel and James to all the lovely little spots around the grounds.  We used the front manor house for a lovely fish eye shot on this day, as well as taking them to the beautiful lake to stand on the stunning wooden bridge.  The vintage brick wishing well and the old fashioned lamppost made for some lovely focal points, the walking shots around the garden were particularly lovely with bare trees and fallen leaves giving it a real winter feel and a real finishing touch to the scenery, we love the Black and White versions of these images that we took.

Before our day finished we headed into the wedding breakfast room to take some close detail shots of the table decorations, wedding cake which were all very sparkly filled with Diamantés, Carmel and James even hired one of our wedding wishing wells to keep their guests wedding cards safe, have a look at our website www.wishes4weddings.co.uk for more information on this.

Elizabeth & Simon wedding at Mulberry House

Elizabeth & Simon were married on the 31st January 2015 at Mulberry House in Ongar.

First wedding of 2015 for SE Photography and what a lovely couple we had to photograph this day!

We began our day at Mulberry House in the Bridal suite with Elizabeth, her 3 Bridesmaids and 4 Flower Girls, Elizabeth looked amazing with her classic Ivory figure hugging dress with a beautiful lace back panel insert and stunning train.  The Bridesmaids and Older flower girls looked so pretty in their Purple dresses which fitted in lovely with the colour theme of the day.

We took lots of photographs here of all Elizabeths personal items, which included personalised Converse trainers, personalised hanging horseshoe, and personalised Bride and Bridesmaid jackets to wear during preparation, some great finishing touches and momentos to keep after the day.

Having had Snow predicted this day we were not surprised to have a lovely little snow flurry just as Elizabeth and Bridesmaids were walking into the ceremony room, it looked so pretty in the photographs and our bride was still full of smiles!

We know Mulberry House extremely well and know of all the lovely places to take our couples for their traditional photographs, the snow held back for us during this time and we were able to catch some stunning images of Elizabeth and Simon around the vintage brick wishing well, the amazing lake with a beautiful bridge over it (the photographs of our newly weds standing on this look amazing) we also made use of the vintage street light by having a little fun with our umbrella props, holding on to the post with one hand and leaning out with their umbrellas in there air, great fun.

Liz was so brave this afternoon to stand and have her photographs taken whilst it was so bitterly cold, but it was worth every minute to enable us to capture some amazing memories for them on their special day.

Katy & Leighs wedding at Channels, Lt Waltham

Katy and Leigh were married at Channels in Little Waltham on the 29th December 2014.

Another Winter wedding today at the ever popular Channels and also the last wedding of 2014 for SE Photography!

We work alongside Channels alot and have a really good relationship with the venue staff, its also a great benefit that we know the venue so well and know of all the best places to capture some amazing shots.

Following our photographs of Katy getting ready with her bridesmaid (sister Lucy), we took them down into the pretty side garden for some traditional photographs along with Katy’s parents, even though we were in December the sun was shining for our lovely couple today!

After photographing Katy we headed across the way to meet Leigh with his Best Man Andy and took some lovely images of the pair of them in the grounds, they were both in high spirits and looked really smart in their matching Navy suits with Red finishing touches to match the Red theme of the day.

Being only 4 days after Christmas, the venue still had a very festive feel to it and the Christmas decs were still in all their glory which looked great in the photographs, particularly in the ceremony room, the ceremony was lovely we captured some great memories for our newly weds.

We took Katy and Leigh for a wander around the grounds after the ceremony for their traditional wedding photographs, the lake was looking beautiful with the sun peaking through the trees behind Katy and Leigh and reflecting onto the lake.. so romantic!  We even found pretty Red baubles still hanging in a tree outside the venue which looked great with Katy and Leigh standing underneath having a little cuddle.  On this lovely Winters day we also made use of the L shaped barn and the beautiful sweeping drive for some more glorious shots.

Davinia & Daniels wedding at Micklesfield Hall, Herts

Davinia & Daniel were married at Micklesfield Hall in Hertfordshire on the 13th December 2014.

We arrived in Hertfordshire at the amazingly beautiful Micklefield Hall on this Winters day for photograph Davinia and Daniels outdoor ceremony.  It was a very chilly day but the guests were all in good spirits and wrapped up warm to enjoy the ceremony.

Davinias close friends both sang at the ceremony they had amazing voices and it really fitted in so well with the style of wedding and the venue surrounding.  We captured some lovely shots of our couple making their vows, with the pretty pond reflecting the guests images onto the water, the images look so pretty.

We were spoilt for choice with areas to use for the traditional photographs of Davinia and Daniel, we captured some amazing shots outside the manor house and around the gardens and including some lovely ornamental features that are scattered around the grounds, an amazing venue.

We stayed to cover the evening coverage for our newly weds and captured the cutting of the cake, first dance and of all the guests really enjoying themselves, so lovely to treasure all those special moments with friends and family!
