Leanne & Ben’s wedding St Mary Church, Bexley & Hall Place Gardens, Bexley Village

Leanne and Ben were married on the 2nd April 2015 at St Mary’s church Bexley followed by the reception at Hall Place Gardens also in Bexley.

We were looking forward to shooting Leanne and Ben’s wedding today who where kindly recommended by theie friends Rebecca and Dan & Louise and Ryan who’s wedding we also had the pleasure of shooting, its always lovely to photograph sets of friends and it was lovely to see our past couples as guests here on this lovely day.

It was lovely to have a wedding out of our local area in Bexley, and also at such a lovely venue as Hall Place Gardens.

Leanne and Ben had a lovely elegant colour scheme which complimented the wedding venue so well, Leanne had a beautifully elegant Ivory dress with a subtle Ivory bouquet and the bridesmaids added that splash of colour with bright pink dresses and contrasting Pink and Purple posies, and not forgetting to mention Ben of course who looked super smart in his Blue suit matching with the Grooms Men.

We captured some beautiful shots of our couple this day, the manor house at Hall Place Gardens looked stunning in the background of the couple shots, we had many beautiful places to make use of around the gardens including the beautiful lush Green gardens and old ornate statues and features dotted around the grounds, we just loved the tall Green hedging that had been shaped to form lots of different animals.. amazing!

The White pom poms in the trees made a great little touch by our couple and we where sure to capture a few beautiful shots incorporating these.

We were asked to stay to capture the evening for Leanne and Ben which was great as caught some great moments of the guests donning chef hats and aprons and cutting there own joints of meat at the dinner table, really did make for some great fun shots!  We love the evening as we also get to capture the first dance, all those guests dancing and enjoying themselves and a few of the newly weds outside the venue with the coloured lights lighting the venue, this always makes a great shot!

Holly and Adam’s wedding St Germanus Church, Faulkbourne and Channels Lt Waltham.

Holly and Adam were married on the 2nd April 2015 at St Germanus Church in Faulkbourne followed by the wedding reception held at Channels in Lt Waltham.

Today Stacey our owner was back in action from Maternity leave and what a great day it was to be photographing the wedding of Holly and Adam who were recommended to us by Channels.

We began our day at Channels for bridal preparation with Holly, the 4 bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride (who had the honorable job of giving Holly away today), we captured some lovely fun shots outside in the pretty garden before heading off to church to meet Adam and the men who were patiently waiting at St Germanus Church in Faulkbourne a pretty little church off set from the road nettled in beautiful countryside, Adams childhood home could even be spotted in the distance!

After the lovely service, (during which Holly’s mother done such a great job of walking her daughter down the aisle whilst trying to hold back those tears), we took Holly and Adam around the grounds of the church we found an amazing huge old fallen Oak Tree stump which proved to be an amazing focal point in some of the photographs for Adam and Holly, we had Adam sitting on top of the tree giving Holly a romantic glance over to were she was standing to the side looking up to Adam.. the photographs look amazing.  There we also found another beautiful tree which we made use of for our newly weds to lean on and have a little cuddle their first as Mr and Mrs!

Once we had finished here and headed back to Channels we were sure to take some shots of Holly and Adam sitting on the end of their lovely hired VW camper van next to the lovely lake at the front of the venue, we love the camper vans brings a real retro feel to the day.  We also had fun using our props this day Holly and Adam really enjoyed the balloon shots were we got each of them to draw each other on a balloon and pop them in front of their faces and move them up and down we had real fun and the photographs really would be a talking point for years to come.

Holly and Adam also booked our Youtube montage service as part of their package, so during the day as well as taking photographs we were also taking small video clips all at exactly the right moments, which later go on to be created into a short video along with images and music and placed onto Youtube, a fantastic idea to share on your social media page or for guests who couldn’t make the wedding to view online.  You can find out more on this service by giving us a call at the office.

We loved staying to the evening to capture all those important moments, cutting of the cake, the first dance and of course those guests dancing and enjoying themselves.

Katie and Matt’s wedding at St Clements Church, Leigh on Sea & Channels Lt Waltham.

Katie and Matt were married on the 28th March 2015.

Today we were lucky enough to be photographing back at Channels for the second day running, Katie and Matt spotted us at the Heart FM wedding fair last year and now we were looking forward to capturing some dream shots for their wedding just as they saw and fell in love with from the example albums on our stall.

Our day began with bridal preparation with Katie, Bridesmaid Sophie and 2 flower girls at home.  We enjoyed taking Katie and the girls outside into the garden, it was another lovely day to capture some lovely photographs of them together before heading off to church.  Katie looked lovely in her classic wedding gown with lovely long train, and the Bridesmaids dresses complemented it so well, a lovely pale Green for older bridesmaid Sophie and pale Pink for flower girls, the old English garden style bouquet and posies all blended beautifully, very pretty.

Once we had finished with Katie we headed off to meet the guys at St Clements Church in Leigh on Sea to capture some images of Matt alongside his Groomsmen, we just love the images we took of them having fun jumping in the air at the side of the church and the classic men walking and talking these looked amazing when adjusted into Sepia!

Once the ceremony had ended we headed off to Channels for the traditional newly wed photographs, we really love the leaning shot of Katie and Matt outside the lovely L shaped barn and the shots of their romantic stroll down the sweeping drive, the wind had caught up a little by this time but it only helped by sweeping Katies dress up to the side which gave a lovely bit of drama to the images!

It was lovely to stay with Katie and Matt for the speeches, first dance and cutting of the cake, we also managed to snapshot the guest having a tasty treat from the hired Ice Cream cart! and its always great to capture those guests having fun laughing, joking and having a boogie on the dance floor great to look back on!

Vicky and Bens wedding at Channels, Little Waltham

Vicky and Ben were married at Channels in Little Waltham on the 27th March 2015.

It was a lovely spring day for Vicky and Ben’s wedding we were lucky that the sun was shining down on us once again, Channels was looking beautiful with its Daffodils in Bloom!

We begun our day in the Lodge at Channels with Vicky, her 2 bridesmaids and Mother, Vicky was totally calm and took the whole morning in her stride and was very relaxed for the photographs, the ladies enjoyed going outside into the pretty side garden to have some shots together and alongside Vicky’s parents.  Vicky’s Father was particularly happy at this time as our photographer on the day Chantelle asked if he was the brides brother! he had a little hop, skip and a jump in his stride after this!

After capturing some lovely shots of the Ladies we headed off to the other side of the venue to meet Ben with his Best Man Tom, Usher Chris, Father of the Groom and Father of the Bride, for some lovely traditional shots.  Channels has some lovely areas that we can make use of on the day and we particularly love the tree lined path and pretty pond with water fountain.

The ceremony was lovely, everything went to plan for our couple and it was lovely to see a string quartet keeping the guests entertain before and after the ceremony.

We took Vicky and Ben off for the main photographs around the grounds using the lake at the front of the venue, the sweeping drive for some lovely walking shots and the beautiful L shaped barn which always give a great backdrop.  It was here that the resident cat Biscuit wanted a piece of the action and posed for a few photographs with Vicky and Ben great fun!

Donna & Charlie’s wedding at The Fennes, Bocking.

Donna and Charlie were married on the 18th March 2015 at The Fennes Estate in Bocking nr Braintree.

The Fennes is a lovely country estate with many pretty features for us to include in our photographs, we were looking forward to capturing some magic moments for Donna and Charlie to treasure, Donna and Charlie were recommended to us by Sherri and Pete Bennett good friends of SE Photography and whos wedding we also captured.

We caught up with Donna and her two bridesmaids in the Bridal suite where we captured detailed shots of all Donnas personal items and well as Donna getting into her beautiful classic wedding gown.  The room is a very pretty area to get ready and had some lovely full length mirrors for us to make use of, we just loved capturing Donnas mirror reflection as she took a first look at herself looking amazing.  We took some lovely shots of the bride and bridesmaids too and we loved the Purple bridesmaid dresses which complimented Donnas dress so well and the colour theme of the wedding.

Downstairs we met with Charlie and the men to capture some fun shots, we particularly love the shots of them jumping in the air, we can even see the ladies upstairs having a sneak peek through the windows!

After the ceremony we took Donna and Charlie for their traditional photographs around the pretty grounds, we just love the vintage wooden bride over the pretty lake here, it makes for some stunning shots with the bride and groom as do the pretty little cottages scattered around the grounds, we had some fun with our blackboard props too which our newly weds really enjoyed.
