It was judged by one of the country’s top judges Hoss Mahdavi.  Stacey was pleased to be presented with “An Award of Excellence” for a Wedding Photojournalism Image for the following Image Taken last July at Lucy & Toby’s Wedding, the image was taken in Hanbury Manor.

Alex proposed to Emma at the bench to the right of Hylands House in the park so it only seemed the perfect venue to hold their wedding there!

It was a true pleasure to work with Emma & Alex and they were willing to do anything we asked of them, even when Emma sat on a thorn she didnt complain such a wonderful person to know, and always smiling!

This was a stunning day weatherwise the sun was shining and smiles were to be had all round and the daffoldils outside the church was Vicki & Mikes ray of shine shine!

Vicki & Mike were an absolute dream couple to work with i would have never guessed how nervous of the camera they were on the day, finding out after the wedding from Vicki’s Sister how nervous she was of having her photo taken.  Bless Well it was a pleasure x

Ted helped us all day in organising the guests for groups moving guests around, holding drinks or bouquets or dress where needed! As well as announced the speeches and made sure everyone was where they should be and when!

He has a few old traditions that i personally value such as presenting the couple with the cork of the first bottle of champagne opened on their wedding day with a silver coin in it for good luck!  Its an old Family tradition of mine and is a sweet and personal touch that Ted brings to your wedding.

Wedding photography is not easy and should be left to the professional and experienced photographers.  With the ease of people being able to buy good quality cameras and buying stock photos they can set up a good website and talk the talk but can they actually produce those ever lasting memories?

When choosing a photographer speak to clients they have shot weddings for and see a whole wedding that they have shot before booking them it helps if the photographer is part of a professional organisation such as the MPA or BIPP.

This is not the first story to hit the press and we are sure wont be the last! These are the ones that get to press alot dont they are settled out of public view!
